This place is wonderful! From the first visit every piece of our experience has been nothing but exceptional. The registration process was pleasant and professional. The facility is clean and comfortable. The instructors are the best part of it all! Alec and Courtney are very impactful! They have absolute control over the kids. They treat them with respect and kindness and through it all instill discipline and skills and values that go beyond the physical. And most important, my kids LOVE their class!

Alec and Courtney are excellent instructors. They work so well with the kids and ensure that they are having fun while improving every class. My son was so excited and proud to earn his first promotion. He wants to go and train every day because it’s such a fun, challenging, and inspirational environment. The discipline, courage, confidence and respect he is developing at CMA is top notch. I am so glad that we found such an amazing martial arts school.

My daughter loves it. Shes been going for 2 1/2 years and is now a red/blue belt. The instructors are fun yet maintain a well structured class. They look for accuracy in movements but are not critical when mistakes are made. Its a great place!

CMA Baldwin Park is fantastic. Both my kids attend, and love it here. They actually get upset when we need to miss a class, even on Saturday mornings! The instructors are amazing people. Kind and patient, but firm and can steer students back on course without being aggressive. I know my kids experiences here will stay with them always, and Im very grateful. ❤

Our son has been going to CMA Baldwin Park for a number of years. And while some of the staff and instructors have changed over time the high quality training has always been consistent. They provide many fun opportunities for the kids to improve their skills, summer programs, camps and parent night outs. Good people.

My daughters love coming here! Its hard work, but the senseis do really well with children of all ability range. Courtney and Alec are adored by the kids and they have a great rapport.

CMA Baldwin is truly one of the best karate schools out there and I would highly recommend it for children of all ages and even adults! Sensei Courtney and Sensei Alec are brilliant instructors with high expectations, but also know how to make classes fun and engaging. We consider CMA Baldwin as family. My son has been taking classes for a few years now and loves every second. If your child (or yourself) is considering karate, I highly suggest a trial at this school. You will not be disappointed!

The senseis are great with the kids and have a way of instilling discipline, focus and personal growth for each individual, while keeping it light and fun! Every month there is a word of the month (Decisions, self-control, perserverance, etc) for the students to learn about. I think this helps tie in the self discipline and power of martial arts with the integrity and choice to be a good person. They zero in on practicing particular moves, skills, stances, form and flow, and switching up exercises as to not make it the same routine or one dimensional. It is a positive atmosphere and you can feel it. Although the individual exercises are beneficial, its pretty awesome to see the kids interacting in their partner activities and the sense of commodary they establish. Thank you Sensei Courtney and Sensei Alec! You guys are a great team!!
