By far the best decision I have made is to have put my daughter at Goddard Pearland. We had a horrible experience with her first daycare and as a mom the safety and well being of my child is my priority. Mr. Ed and his staff have been AMAZING from the start. My daughter quickly adapted to going to school and has learned so much!! I am so grateful to be a part of the Goddard family, because this is exactly how they make you feel.

This is by far an exceptional choice! I am grateful to the director Mr. Ed and his wife for being welcoming to our family since day one. Once my child was enrolled I must be honest she cried for three weeks straight. As a concerned parent, I would call the school/ walk-in at any time to check on my daughter. This is part of the transition, they assured me and they were right. Let me tell you today she is THRIVING my daughter can say her ABCs, her shapes, colors and communicates with so many words! She even knows the staff and her friends names and she is only 18 months! I thank Ms. KeKe, Ms. Issa and everyone who has invested in my childs growth! I believe it does take a village to raise a child, I am blessed to be part of the Goddard School in Pearland hands down! Eternally grateful to the Director, Teachers, and Staff they truly care for connecting with our families and especially our children. I highly recommend your family to be a part of ours!

I love this school, and even better, my boys really like it! I am so thankful we left Kids R Kids to come here. I only wish we had joined Goddard a while ago before trying other schools. The admin team is great, teachers are very nice, and they really love the kids. Mr. Ed and Ms. Maria are probably the best thing that ever happened to that school. They really treat the kids like their own, and they always add really fun and exciting things for the kids to do that are educational and fun as well. You guys are the best!

We switched my daughter to Goddard 1 year ago, and have been so happy with that decision! Right away we felt a real difference in the warmth of the staff and genuine care for students and families. Its the difference between just memorizing you childs name, vs giving you the sense that they care to get to know you and are happy to see them each day. As a parent, I feel so much more at ease bringing my child to this kind of environment, and feel the learning and growth that is fostered at this school is really superior because of it.Beyond these first impressions, I was also immediately impressed with the amount of extra programming the school has developed for their students, from art projects and Spanish class multiple times a week, to STEM experiments and fun summer activities (splash day, petting zoo, pony rides, too many things for me to remember!). They really go above and beyond to enrich my childs learning experience beyond just the basics (which she of course is getting as well). There is so much fun to be had, and so much my daughter has learned at the same time! I think the tuition is incredibly affordable considering all the extras added to their curriculum, and I am grateful knowing she will be more than prepared for kinder this fall.Ive also noticed that the teacher turn-over rate is much lower here than other schools, which I think also supports the fact that school is well run. Its just a great environment where teachers want to stay, and kids benefit from bonding with and learning from a consistent pair of instructors (which is not something I take for granted after experiences with teachers changing monthly at other schools). Overall, Goddard is a fantastic choice for preschool in the SCR area, and I would certainly recommend it to anyone!

It is always a hard decision to choose a good preschool. I am glad that I decided to send my 3 years old to the Goddard school of Pearland. I was so emotional to just leave her there and go back to work after staying home with her for 3 years. The director, staff and teachers were really friendly and kind and helped me get through that time and helped my daughter to adjust in her new environment. Ms. Daeja and her other teachers( Ms. Maria, and Ms.. Nicole) are just wonderful and caring. We never had any issues and my daughter loves them. She comes home with a new song every day and has learned a lot since she started. The school might not look as fancy as other schools in the area but the quality is very high and has a very welcoming environment. We are sorry that we have to take her out of the school because we are relocating but wish the directors, teachers and staff continued success and positive future. Thank you so much for taking caring of our daughter!

Our 2 boys have been going to Goddard School for the past 2.5 years and we have been very pleased with the service they provide. We like the continuity in the teachers - my older son was affected by the high turnover in the other day cares; Goddard provided stability here. From the Infant classroom to the Kindergarten preparedness classroom, we always had good interactions with the teachers; they are courteous and knowledgeable. We like the curriculum as it offers the right balance between teaching/learning, activities and play. The director is responsive to any questions we have and friendly. The new owners are attentive, friendly and care about the children and their families. They have made consistent improvements since they took ownership; which shows their dedication to make this school an even better one.

We absolutely LOVE the Goddard School! The new owners are fantastic! They are always present, attentive and very transparent. My child has gone there for going on 3 years and every teacher we have had, we adored. Everyone is very caring and nurturing. I will be very sad when my child has to go to elementary school and leave this wonderful place. If you are looking for a daycare in the area, this is the place to be!

In the month of Oct. 2017, I picked up my son and notice he was quiet. Immediately went home to check temp ..103.8 how long was my child running a fever. Dangerously high. Next week my child collided with another child and received a black eye. No incident report. Days following my son complains of another child by name as punching and hitting him, son refuses to go to that school for fear of the bully. These 2 incidents back 2 back are tell tell signs of bad care and lack of attention. We promptly snatch him out of there. He is back to a happy kid and his normal self.

This daycare is by far the best daycare in the Shadow Creek area. Everyone from the staff to the owner do an exceptional job from taking care of my kids to communicating regularly on how the kids are doing. The attention to detail and the loving nature of the staff with all the kids is a great thing to see. I have read some negative reviews and Im not sure where they are coming from but I know the owner is fair to everyone and if there has been a problem with my kids she has communicated in a respectful way to me. There are not a lot of daycares out there that you could truly say that you trust completely but I am grateful that I can say that about this school. I am a VERY satisfied parent!!!

Horrible customer service from the owner Susie. My son had a new teacher every 3 weeks. The class was more like a daycare and playroom instead of a learning environment. I would not recommend this school to anyone even if they offered free tuition

I cant say enough good things about this school and especially the owner Suzie. The entire staff worked with me and my son, who had some challenges in previous schools. When I expressed concerns, the owner would call a meeting with the me, her and the staff so we could talk and I could suggest things I thought might work with my son. Not all schools even try to accommodate kids with challenges, trust me Ive lived and learned. This one was a real gem. Thank you Suzie and staff for just being compassionate, loving and willing to work with us.

I am a classic over protective dad of two beautiful girls. Making the decision on who to leave your child with is a stressful one. You worry about their safety as well as their growth and development. In my case my wife and I have tested several school for my daughters in the Pearland area. Some more expensive some, some less expensive. In the end I chose the place that made me feel secure. A place that made my daughters feel like they were family. That place is The Goddard School. Miss Suzie and her teachers have grown with my girls. They can name every teacher as they go down the hall and so can I. They literally race down the hall to get to the office every day to find Miss Shay before they go home. When I see that, I know we made the right choice. #peaceofmind

We have two kids attending this location. We went through a lot of daycares between Katy, Houston and now Pearland before we were happy. We arent difficult people outside of the fact we use cloth diapers and have expected our daycares to provide some sort of academic stimulation for our children. These two requests are too much for many daycares weve found and are very thankful for the staff at Goddard. They have their staffing issues internally as any organization does and handle them with an open communication policy with us when it relates to any of the staff involved with our children which is appreciated. They are on the pricey side but it is worth it after literally having to take our children out of other locations for blatant neglect, cleanliness, rudeness and babysitting with electronics all day after the parents arent around. When I show up at random at Goddard the kids are actively involved in exercise or an academic activity and we already see a difference in the speed of their progression. Worth every penny.

Started off great. My son is 3 and only went there for about 3 months. During that time i asked how my sons day was 5 days a week and never got a bad report other than normal kid stuff; taking toys from each other, hitting etc...but rarely got those reports. I asked to be called if my son was doing things inappropiate and or sick and not himself. Went one day and my son was limb lying on the floor. I immediately rushed him to the hospital. He didnt complain of feeling bad, we ate breakfast that morning but apparently he was this way all days says the teacher and they had to hold him all day but NO ONE called me. My sons fever was 103 under the arm and 104 rectal. The owner apologized but proceeded to tell me how parents dont come and is why i wasnt called. I didnt go there saying other daycares werent doing anything. I gave them a fair chance and that should have been extended to me. Shortly after my son switched classes to an older group...Then one day i got a call he was misbehaving. I immediately went there to speak with him because im a proactive parent. Owner spoke with me and stated basically that he was out of hand and in her office every day, imagine. It was mentioned a parent inquired about my son saying his son went home saying mine hit him. hmmmm kids do this. My child came home saying the same with scratches on his neck, face and arms often. A busted lip that an incident report was susposedly written on but i was never provided the incident report. Kids will be kids so i let it slide. This was baffling to me however i entertained it and let her know i was unhappy with this news seeing as i ask every day. Anyway, we sat down and came up with a game plan. Exactly a week from the date this plan was put in order, i was called around 10am to tell me my son had spit at the teacher(tge stick your tongue and a blow kind of spit as it was explained) (i asked the teacher on the phone does any other kids do this and was told i wont lie yes, anotger kid spits but got there and the owner tried saying he was spitting bc of my son but what the teacher said wasnt yes Mrs Bell but only bc of mason. She stated it as otherwise) bc he didnt want to do what he was told and made a gun out of leggos shooting it. Kids play like this and mine watched zootopia and wants to be a cop. Anyways he was PUT OUT that day. It boiled down to poor communication between the teachers and management and the fact another parent complained. I had already paid for two weeks he only went 4 1/2 days not 10 but had to call to het my money back. They didnt even let him finish the day. But they understand every kid is unique. My son however was right there the entire time they wete telling my how bad he was and that they were putting him out. I asked for corporate info and tge owner got mad and told me she was independent and could do what she wanted basically bc she is the owner and its a franchise. This school just carries the Goodard name but not their standards. Called corporate and told them they asked if i wanted them to send her a message of the complaint. Here is where you choose. Do you want your child somewhere that has standards to follow and could be held accountable? The owner was very argumentative with me when i went there to just find out what prompted the immediate a sudden dismissal. It was never empathy or understanding for why i was upset but contradictions after each and priceless when the teacher entered the convo to tell her she never called me to inform me of hos behavior. After the game plan a week prior i was told by the evening teacher he was much better and ypu could tell he was trying. I can go on and on but this was most devistating to me and my son. I had to take him for icees to let him know he is not bad and I will not tolerate putting him in that category because hes active, and an only child thats use to hetting his way. If you understand all children are unique then what wasnt unique about him and why werent the other kids whom were hitting and spitting put out?
