A good and legitimate Kukkiwon school, great curriculum, and great people. Master Tanner is the best!

I have been training here for two years, and I love it. Its a great workout, especially for anyone looking to improve their overall fitness and flexibility, while also learning Olympic style martial arts.Master Tanner is student-focused and is great with all his students, especially kids. He is always eager to help students learn more, become more confident, and push them to do their best. He will help you develop into an accomplished martial artist and disciplined individual both inside and outside the studio.You are more than welcome to come into the studio and see for yourself. Classes are ongoing, so people can come in anytime during weekday afternoons and evenings to watch the students train. There are classes are for both children and adults. I highly recommend this studio to all ages and ability levels. If you are interested in learning Taekwondo in Reno or just looking to get more fit, then this is the way to go.

If you saw the last review by Scott Ibarra, we have no idea who this person is, he has never been to First Taekwondo or has ever been student at First Taekwondo. Not sure who he is or what he is about but he has nothing to do or has never been associated with First Taekwondo, Nevada Taekwondo, Kukkiwon, World Taekwondo Federation or USA Taekwondo as far as we know. Hes integrity is definitely in question.

Weve been a member of the First TaeKwondo family for almost a year and after speaking with other TKD parents from other dojos, I realize what an amazing community weve joined. My kiddo has learned discipline and structure in his physical activity, along with appreciation for the skill levels of others. Master Tanner is such a professional that connects with the students on an individual level and does an amazing job of serving as a secondary adult influence in a childs life.

My kids love it! Master Tanner is a great teacher and life mentor for the kids! Highly recommended!

Im 27 years old and just joined FIRST TEAKWONDO november of 2013 testing for orange belt this month and i always get a good workout great instructions. master tanner is a great instructer
