We absolutely LOVE Master Michael Wykoff & Core Strength! My son has been going since he was 4 and loves it!Michael and his staff are amazing! This is family owned & operated training that consistently runs a tight ship. They are unbelievably patient and kind to the little kids! The environment is family and friend oriented with very high quality instruction. They have excellent methods to keep them focused and it’s definitely great exercise (+ bonus of discipline!) This helps my sons interactions with other children, following directions, physical fitness and self confidence.My son is always excited to go to his Little Dragons class! He cant stop talking about Master Wykoff while practicing his material at home. It’s a really nice community of parents in a remarkably clean, safe, pleasant environment!Our family is very fortunate to have found such a great community. I highly recommend Master Wykoffs Core Strength. We can’t thank you enough Michael!

My daughter has attended Core Strength for a few years. She started as a shy Yellow belt and has grown into a strong Red belt with Black in her sights. The facility is nice and clean, the staff is knowledgeable and compassionate. They concentrate on the student and not just the sport. They teach respect, self respect, strength, character, kindness and much more.

We have been going to Core Strength for over two years, and we are very pleased with the growth and development our children have experienced as martial artists. We highly recommend this studio to anyone that is looking for solid instruction, as we feel that Michael is a very talented leader and teacher, who has a real passion for what he does, as well as a way of genuinely connecting with, and motivating, his students. Michelle is super friendly and a warm, welcome addition to the team of coaches and instructors.

I had been debating signing my kids ( 6 and 9) up for some kind of martial arts for a really long time but always caved to the request for tumbling and gymnastics. After my daughter took a trial class at Core Strength with a friend and saw how much fun it is we dropped tumbling and signed both my kids up with Core Strength. They honestly like it so much more than their other activities. I wasnt sure how they would take to sparring because they arent really physical or confrontational but one day after class on the way to the car my oldest out of nowhere said I love sparring. I havent heard one complaint, not one grumble when I ask them to get their uniforms on. My youngest wants to go to the weekend family class and was raising her hand that she wanted to complete after her first class. I have no doubt that starting at Core Strength was the right thing for both of them.

Core Stength has the most comprehensive, professional approach without the power trip of some of the teachers in the industry. They really engage kids and make it fun for them to learn!

We search and tried several martial arts studios for my three boys. Have to say we are so happy to find Core Strength Martial Arts. This is by far the best one we tried and the best we have been to. My kids love CSMA. Master Wykoff is a great teacher and really cares about the kids. We love the focus not only on the core TKD skills but also on teaching kids about respect, leadership and self confidence. Classes start and end on time so its great on a busy schedule. Highly recommend to try it out!

We love having our family train with Master Wyckoff. They offer an incredibly supportive and structured environment for learning Taekwondo.

My son has been a student at Core Strength Martial Arts for almost a year. It is thrilling how much he has progressed with his skills in just a short time. Master Wykoffs energy is amazing, and the kids really respond to him and the other wonderful coaches. They cover more than just Taekwondo - they teach the kids about responding to bullying, build up their self-esteem, and celebrate the kids successes inside and outside the studio. The main weekday schedule offered now has allowed us to shuttle our son more often to attend class, which means he is really getting the most out of his classes. We are really looking forward to tournaments put together by the Arizona Martial Arts Coalition (AMAC), which is the brainchild of Master Wykoff and his wife, Coach Michelle. AMAC promises opportunities for kids to learn a variety of martial arts, earn scholarship money, and continue to excel at their craft. Huge thanks to Master Wykoff, Coach Michelle, and the rest of the Core Strength staff!

Both of my kids are with Core Strength and the self confidence and self awareness it builds is invaluable! Black belts here we come!!!!!
