Master Kim was great with my daughter, she really enjoyed the class even though she was reluctant in going. All of the instructors were attentive and corrected technique while making it fun. We were new in town and he made us feel so welcome. Thank you.

About a 2.7 - A pretty good place but not always good at requiring students to wear masks. Also, too many times the instructor cuts class 5 minutes early which is a lot for a 40 minute class.The biggest negative is to increase your belt, you have to pay $65 for either a new stripe or new belt and break a board for a $5 at most value (impression is this is just a way to put $$$ in the owners pocket). And to add insult to injury, you pay cash or check payable to the owner, not the business.

Update: Online learning has been very engaging and forwarding. The instructors are involved and have helped our little one learn new skills and stay motivated. Highly recommend this program as it helps kids stay active, motivated, and happy during these challenging times.Wonderful transformation:The program is not only fun for our little one, she has also gone through a transitional period. The program is setup to make goal oriented, disciplined, individuals which take constructive criticism and turn it into motivation for being better and doing more.Grand Master Kim is very effective in building up young souls. WTKC is a great school for people who are interested in learning TKD. Master Kim is great with kids as well.

Wonderful learning environment for children physically, mentally, and emotionally. Great order and motivation that carries over in other areas of life.

We started our daughter in this program Tak Kwon Do and have been very happy with the instruction and philosophy of the program. Would highly recommend it for both children and adults.

Small but a great place to learn with great instructor for kids

3 Years back we moved from Columbus to Phoenix. My daughter used to learn Korean Taekwondo in Columbus, OH and we were having a challenge to find a good one here. I achieved my Dan 1 Black Belt in Korean Taekwondo in 2002 so was looking for a Master affiliated with Kukkiwon (Headquarters in South Korea). Thats when we found World Taekwondo Center. It was far for us to travel from cave creek road to Scottsdale, but as we went my daughter liked Master Kim a lot and I was satisfied by his training methods. Last year we moved to Peoria still further away from Scottsdale. Its almost 45 mins drive one way, but we still make it weekly twice as this place is the best training center. We tried other center near to Peoria but didnt like much. Grand Master Kim is very passionate, strict and excellent trainer. He encouraging students and understands needs of each student and concentrates on improving that specifically. Now my daughter has completed her 1 Poom (Dan) Black Belt and now training for 2nd level Black Belt under Master Kim. We cant thank enough Master Kim for all this efforts in building the confidence and interest in our daughter.We highly recommend World Taekwondo Center and Master Kim training center.

Very well coordinated and structured program. My Kid learned so much in a span of 1 year. Cant say enough about Master Kim.He is the best.He makes Taekwondo learning a fun experience.All the instructors are very nice.My Kid looks forward for coming to the class.Overall a highly pleasant experience.Fortunate enough to find this studio.

Grand Master Kims teaching method has turned our daughter into a goal oriented little girl. While learning how to take constructive criticism, she is eager to become better in everything she does; do more, be kinder, and at the same time have fun.

My daughters have been training here for 6 years and can say that Grand Master Kim is a fantastic instructor and motivator. His approach is both nurturing and discipline focused. With his guidance my oldest daughter has even reached US National/junior Olympic medal podiums with Gold, Silver and Bronze. His classes are great for all ages.

This is a great Taekwondo school for all ages! I have been with Grandmaster Kim for almost 10 years now. He is an excellent instructor who monitors the progress of everyone and is very patient in helping students develop their skills.

I have been with Master Kim for 7 years now. He is a great Instructor for both young and old and those in between. We have several state and national champions coming out of this studio.

This centre is close to home and mainly the reason why I put my son here but it has proven to be one of the best schools for taekwondo that I know of. My son is very soft natured and introverted, the classes have made him forget his inhibitions and to develop confidence and inner strength. Grand Master Kun Sang Kim is a wonderful teacher and establishes immediate camaraderie as do the other trainers. Overall a great centre to learn martial arts and have great fun...!

This is a fantastic taekwondo school (dojang in Korean) filled with school spirit, comraderie and achievement. Grandmaster Kim is an accomplished practitioner, and an excellent teacher. He is extremely patient and talented at pin-pointing how to communicate the art. I strongly recommend taekwondo as a martial art, and this school as the go-to school.
