This gym changed my life. I started as a 6-week challenger and I had never done an exercise plan, if you will, before. I was successful in the challenge and I lost 20 lbs and 6.3% body fat. I started seeing results at week 3. My advice to be successful is to go at it with all of your energy, what you put in you get back. The trainers were all spectacular. I had Nesto as my team leader and he was great. He always had answers to my nutrition questions, exercise tips, and he was an excellent motivator. His classes were so much fun. All of the trainers have their own style of teaching and they’re all unique, but they are also knowledgeable and incredibly helpful. The kickboxing moves can be challenging to grasp but every instructor would come over and help you figure it out. There’s literally nothing to complain about here. I was 100% satisfied in my decision to join this challenge and I would recommend this program highly. But once again, this challenge works if YOU work too. Thanks KickHouse!!

The team at KickHouse is absolutely amazing. They take so much care in explaining technique, preaching body positivity, and they are all geniunely cheering you on as you work to achieve your own personal fitness goals. Hands down the best gym I’ve ever been a part of!! It’s an amazing workout both for burning calories and building muscle, plus you’re getting great training from very knowledgeable instructors. While I’ve always loved my instructors here, Nesto gives me the best workout and always challenges me and pushes me to be my best! KickHouse’s 6-week challenge was the perfect fitness jumpstart for me. Before the challenge, I found myself no longer physically capable of things I once did with ease, and in regards to nutrition, I was either skipping meals or over-indulging. I am now have notable improvements in muscle definition, running pace, and endurance.The summary sheets in the nutrition guide are useful reminders but definitely helps to have some nutritional knowledge in advance. With recipes are more general inspiration. I wouldnt rely on them.I greatly enjoyed all of the teaching styles that the coaches offered. They are a cast of characters that each care about you meeting your goals, gaining skills, and executing proper technique. You are sure to find a coach that fits your preferences without sacrificing quality.A few things to keep in mind as youre deciding on a gym: business communications and messaging were occassionally inconsistent and unreliable, Covid precautions are minimal, and this is fitness not fighting kickboxing.The free challenge actually is a $500 refundable deposit, which definitely serves as motivation for the days you don’t feel like going to the gym or those moments that you are tempted to stray from the diet.If you have discipline and are looking for external accountability, absolutely you should try the 6-week challenge at KickHouse and maybe even become a member.

Kickhouse is an awesome way to get fit and stay fit! The classes can be intense but by no means impossible. Every day you go in you know you are getting a good workout for the day.The coaches are so helpful in reaching your fitness goals with nutrition tips and can even give you things you can do outside the gym to help with those goals. They are all so friendly and motivating they can make anyone enjoy exercising!I never had any experience kickboxing but the coaches were always willing to help me learn the proper technique/form to do the workout.I had a great experience at Kickhouse and would recommend anyone to give it a try. Training here is fun, challenging and rewarding all at the same time! I found myself hitting personal goals that I thought werent possible (I couldnt do cardio or a simple push up for the life of me and now I can ). If you’re looking to try something new, motivating and feel results, I highly recommend going to KickHouse! πŸ₯ŠπŸ₯‡πŸ† When I signed up for the 6-week challenge I found that I really looked forward to going to class. The atmosphere has a great sound system with an open and airy lobby. It’s well organized with lockers and the restrooms are stocked with all you could ever think of needing for a quick fresh up after class. The staff is friendly, professional, encouraging and knowledgeable. The week day mornings with Cory and Aidan (alternating days) offered a great balance of workout paces - during a lower intensity class I’d still burn about 400-500 calories per workout and high intensity an easy 500-650 calories - so you have something to look forward to each day. Nesto and Rebecca, also great coaches! Mason and Tim are timely with responding to any questions or concerns and it’s clear they want the best for their customers. The front desk staff, including Jenna are helpful when explaining how the challenge works and followed up when needed. I’ve learned so much about nutrition and kickboxing through this wonderful group of people. I’ve also been lucky to have made new friendships with the staff and other members. KickHouse is fantastic!

Place reeks for starters. They only care about making money from their β€œclients.” They also do not follow covid restrictions prior to the law being lifted. Their workouts are cheap moves you could probably pick up better on YouTube tutorials. It’s also placed in a really poor part of town. So keep your doors lock.

If I leave a terrible review will someone please refund me the membership fee that you charged after I had already canceled my membership with a 30 day written notice? I received confirmation that me notice was received any my membership would end- yet you all kept charging me. I reached out and was promised a follow up with no help. I then reached out to ILKB itself who stated that they have reached out many times without a response. Listen y’all- I’m bot mad that you messed up and charged me for an additional month. I’m mad that once I noticed the error there was a promise to get back to me and no action. It’s been four months. I would strongly recommend selecting another gym due to this reason.

I started the 6 week challenge going into it thinking this will be a nice cleanse/detox for me and will only last the six weeks. I was so surprised with my immediate change in mindset, motivation, and dedication, and I started feeling like I could do this for the rest of my life! I’ve gone to the gym throughout the years and always got burned out or bored or uninspired and I would always quit. The kickboxing classes are so awesome! I love the smaller classes, it almost feels one on one, and it’s always fun! My trainer, Nesto, was so supportive and constantly checked in to see how we were doing and encouraged us to be active. I had some personal issues come up and had to stop the challenge and Nesto was so understanding and let me restart when I got back on my feet. Nesto and all the trainers at the studio want you to be successful no matter what and you can really feel they care. I’m so glad I found this studio and I would encourage anyone to join! 10/10!

Ive really appreciated the personalized approach of the instructors. Each of the instructors is positive and encouraging. Its very clean and safe. As a complete beginner I have been so impressed with the amount of individualized attention I get during group classes--very unusual compared to other group workouts Ive attended. Theres a focus on technique and learning the support, as well as getting in a good full-body workout.Ive especially enjoyed ending long work days with Nestos evening classes. He creates a comfortable, fun atmosphere while displaying the utmost professionalism. Nesto is so kind and friendly that you wouldnt even know he is a black belt. With his help, Ive been able to start this sport completely fresh without any injuries, he answers my 8 million questions even in his spare time outside of his shift, and genuinely cares about my progress/experience. This is the kind of customer service that I take note of...KickHouse Austin, can I borrow Nesto to train my team in client relations?!? If it werent for instructors like Nesto and Adan, and the bonds Ive made with other clients, Id definitely be tempted to join someplace that has showers in the locker room, but now Im hooked for good.Id give this place more than 5 stars if I could!

False advertising. I should sue them. Says free 6-week class but the class is $500. I didn’t really expect it to be free but come on. You can get that refunded if you lose 6% body fat, but most people can safely lose about 1% per month, not 1% per week. It was also super crowded. They had 15 people for a class in a small room. No thanks. It’s too bad because the classes look fun and I’d happily pay a reasonable price for the class if they hadn’t have lied to me to get me in the door.

This week I successfully finished my 6 week challenge with them and boy has it changed my lifestyle in a good way! Every single staff member helps you out SO much because they want to see you succeed. Since Day 1 Mason sat with me one on one to discuss my own expectations and ended up giving me a realistic goal of gaining 3lbs of lean muscle (other peoples goals may differ ). Jenna then sat down with me and explained my meal plan thoroughly even giving me tips of what are some delicious healthy meals I can make. The struggle was real the first week bc I would ALWAYS eat out and only eat once at most twice a day. This challenge required you to eat three times a day with protein shakes in between meals. After week 2 it became a routine where I was actually enjoying being creative with my meals and knowing they were healthy !! Spoiler alert: knowing that I can successfully already have cheat meal since I completed the competition, I still went home and cooked another healthy meal and currently still drinking my protein shake. Moving on to the actual kickboxing classes, EVERY SINGLE instructor I took was AMAZING and they are all so different ! Jordyn had soo much patience with me and dedicated a whole class to whatever we wanted to get better at. I took her in the beginning of my challenge so props to her for correcting me 99% of the time . Really did show she wanted me to learn the techniques. Corey ( Aka: Corey in the house) NEVER failed to make kickboxing entertaining and make me laugh. He has great tips when it comes to making sure you fo a move correctly. P.S He has β€œthe best” cool down stretches after class. Adian taught me so much ! He plays close attention to technique and never failed to motivate me whenever I would get tired. I appreciated when he talked to the whole group after one class to ask for feedback on how he can improve and make class better for us( that went a long way with me ) . Last but not least, my coach Nesto! He messaged me throughout the challenge to see how I was doing and would always answer all my questions. His classes were no joke and would always have more moves in one round than the rest. This allowed me to constantly feel challenged as well and feel accomplished when I would finish one of his classes.Overall, everyone was SO SWEET and they definitely know their stuff. Even though the challenge is over for me, it will continue to be an ongoing lifestyle. Never would I’ve thought that I would continue eating healthy after my 6 weeks were over. If you’re looking for a fun/challenging/life changing challenge, don’t think twice and give them a call.

Workouts are fine, but if you are looking for a safe workout space during COVID, this is absolutely NOT the place. Disappointed in the cleanliness. The mats were dirty, they didn’t check temperatures, and no one wears masks during workouts. They β€œspace” the bags, but with a full class, if someone were to have COVID (god forbid) it would not be avoidable with their precautions. Avoid this gym if possible. I only have one more class left of my trial and won’t be signing up for a membership, unfortunately. There are plenty of better gyms.

I have been trying to lose weight for almost a year now and haven’t had any luck until I found ILOVEKICKBOXING gym. I’ve been going to this gym for about two weeks now and I have already dropped 5lbs. I love the fact that I can go in for an hour and leave with a full body workout. The best part about this particular gym is the instructors, they are so energetic, friendly and you can tell that they are really passionate about what they do. With their inspiration and healthy meal plans I know within the next month I can definitely reach my weight goal. So, I started out with the intro special that gave me three classes and boxing gloves, it was super great because you are able to really see if this is really the right thing for you without spending a lot of money for something that might not work out. Since then I’ve gotten a membership, which allows me to go as much as I want and I don’t have to schedule classes, which is great because a lot of times they’re booked a week or so in advance.If you’re looking for results, this is really the place to go, I take about four classes a week and have really noticed a difference in the six weeks that I’ve been going. More so than the three months of boot camp classes I participated in previously. The instructors are great, I always seem to work with Nelson and Anna, both of whom I love, and they keep class fun and interesting. I’ve also worked with Miranda and Veronica on occasion and they’re pretty awesome too.Classes are always an hour, beginning with a 15-minute warm up, and by β€œwarm-up,” what I really mean is, good luck and definitely bring some water, you will be sweating. Following the warm-up, you go into stretching, and then finally some bag work. After that is partner exercises and conditioning. While the class is hard work, it really is worth it, and it’s super fun. If it weren’t, I definitely would be coming four days a week.Bottom line, I really recommend this place to anyone, especially if you’re a beginner, you will really feel welcome and everyone really does take the time to get to know you and your goals. They also take the time to make sure you’re doing everything correctly (they really don’t want you to hurt yourself) and making sure you’re having a great time.

The classes were pretty good - more like a cardio workout than actual training, but still worth it.My only complaint is their billing policy. I was rehabbing from an Achilles injury and this was too intense, so I asked to cancel my membership and future billing.They informed me I had signed a contract and theyd be billing me for an entire extra month that Id never used. I asked them not to, obviously, but they did it anyway.So buyer beware, the gym is pretty good while youre using it, but they are more than happy to steal your money on the back end and pretend like its ok because they have a sneaky loophole with their contracts.TIP: Apparently you can just have your bank prevent future payments if you dont want to get scammed.

This place is great! I came in pretty skeptical because I dont enjoy working out, but I really enjoyed myself after just one class. So much so, I became a member! Now, I try to go as often as I can. I tend to get/be insecure when it comes to fitness so the tone was really important to me. One of the best things about coming here, specifically this location, is the people. Everyone here is incredibly wonderful whether it be the instructor leading the class or others in the class with you. Everyone is very kind and respectful and makes it a comfortable environment. Every time I go theres a range of fitness levels, so I never have to feel like Im out of place. Its great stress relief, fun, keeps you moving, and you get to punch and kick things. If I could give higher then five stars I would give 500 stars. This program seriously works and is life changing. I was a 6 week challenger. I successfully completed the 6 week challenge. I lost 20lbs increased my muscle mass and lost 6.1% Body Fat. All I can say is trust the trainers trust the program and stick it out 100% you won’t regret it. The trainers are all extremely knowledgeable and always positive. They are there every step of the way for you. Providing advice and support for every individual struggle you may face along the way. My best friend bought me a pass to try out kickboxing because I told her I always wanted to go to a class. Best experience Ive ever had in a class. The instructor introduced himself and everyone to us. It was a very warm welcome. And oh man did this class make me sweat. Their warm-up was super intense and it was only for like 15 minutes. The class is an hour long, but it felt way longer than an hour. Which is good because it makes you feel like you got your moneys worth.

ILoveKickboxing was a wonderful way to jump into the city of Austin! I was tempted to get healthy, but didnt necessarily have all the tools. After being served an ad on IG, I took the leap to join ILoveKickboxings Six Week Challenge. I was able to jump into a routine in a new city, meet caring and informative instructors, and really feel supported and motivated to keep working out. In six weeks, I was not only able to lose over 26lbs, but I now have a better understanding of fitness and nutrition, which I can carry with me no matter where I live. This place is so great! Everyone here is super welcoming and sweet. The workouts leave you drenched in sweat and has helped me tremendously! I turned 30 this year and went through some medical/physical issues and this has been the best workout regimen I could have asked for.

Coming from the girl who struck out in tee ball, I am the most uncoordinated person in the world. At ILoveKickBoxing the instructors are very helpful in making sure your form is right, not that youre doing it fast or keeping up pace with the rest of the class. They also always offer modified exercises knowing that not ever participant is on the same level so no one is ever left out.

Ilovekickboxing ROCKS!!! Up beat atmosphere and awesome instructors!!!They know how to keep you encouraged and motivated throughout the entire workout. The workout begins with a warm up, goes into stretching, bag workout with various punches and kicks, partners workout focusing on various punches and core strengthening and ends with stretches. There are two instructors on the mats going around helping you to maintain proper form to get the most from your workout and to help prevent injury. The staff is very friendly. I have taken classes instructed by Miranda, Veronica and Anna, they will leave your heart beating, legs shaking, and body sweating but in a good way. When you complete your workout you definitely feel a sense of accomplishment. I was able to witness the beginning of a class that Nelson was instructing and he was motivating as well drill sergeant style!!! I would highly recommend this facility!!!

I love this place. It kicks my butt and I keep coming back for more. Im seeing the weight come off. Im sore but Im getting more and more active. Its expensive compared to a family gym, but compared to other specialty gyms its average. But again how much is your health worth to you? I gave up one shopping trip that I do now once a month instead of twice for a place I can go every day and get healthy and not be judged. I have 100 lbs to lose when I started in February. Its the start of April and I have 77 lbs left.

Wasted time. Got delayed. Then showed up 10 minutes late and was told they couldnt take us anymore. Pretty disappointed. Looking for refund of the classes I had already purchased. Maybe the place is good but I wouldnt know wasnt given the opportunity.

I love this place! I began attending classes about a month ago and after the initial 3 classes were over, I went ahead and signed up for a membership. The staff is amazingly awesome! They get you pumped to keep going even if you dont think you can. Maranda, Nelson, Ana you guys are fantastic!

Where do I begin!ILKB Austin has changed my life in so MANY ways that I would be writing an essay of I elaborate but they know what Im referring to. I found this club through Groupon, and even though I was very intimidated by the word BOXING I figured it was a vigorous work-out that would assist in getting healthy. And I was right. I became a member and believe that I made the right decision for ME. The trainers are hands down the most genuine, caring, committed and motivating group that Ive encountered. They all push me and make me feel good about myself. Honestly, without the trainers I wouldnt be where I am today. Boxing is my therapy and Im truly blessed and thankful to have found ILKB!!!! Almost forgot to mention the music is on point every single time, I love it.

Kickboxing changed my life! I relapsed on my healthy lifestyle and... signed up for Kickboxing Austin which Im so excited about working out, it beats LaFitness or Crossfit! I will miss it so much when out of town but will be even more excited to be back! I even wish the classes were cheaper, as it was only $90 a month in Rochester, NY but this was way more and hope doesnt kill my budget in the long run. But importantly Im working out and changing my life... Hopefully down the road they will change its prices.
