This place deserves 10 stars! The owner and staff are top notch. Alicia the owner completely erased all my daycare fears. Shes an ideal business owner - super down to earth and easy to talk to, extremely available and responsive to calls and emails, and she hires staff that clearly are working there because they love children (not just a job). They use Shutterfly to give parents pictures of what their kids are doing during the day and theyll send home cute little drawings and paintings they make. They get to play outside often and the little bitty babies get to go on stroller rides. The name says it all - Peace of Mind is exactly what youll have if you choose this daycare. Never once have I worried about the quality of care that either of my children receive in their care. Theyre the best.

Alicia, the owner of Peace of Mind, has cared for our boys since they were both 3 months old. She is exceptional. We never had any doubt that they were not only being cared for, but being loved, while they were in her care. She really is a child whisperer. Over the years, weve come to think of her more like family. The facility is bright and clean. The decision to entrust your children with a child care provider is a huge one, but its so much easier when your kids are genuinely excited to go see Miss Alicia.

Alicia is amazing! She has been caring for my daughter since she was 9 weeks old. I was so incredibly nervous to put my daughter in care at that young age, but Alicia put my mind at ease from day one. She is a true professional and it’s obvious her love for babies from the minute you meet her. She’s incredibly responsive, caring and knowledgeable. When my daughter sees her, she breaks into a smile from ear to ear, which just says it all :)

Alicia was my daughters care provider at a prior school. It was the first time for us to have our 8 week old at school and Alicia made me feel as comfortable as possible. I always felt my daughter was in good hands and well cared for. In addition, Alicia always knew cool parenting tricks and was happy to share. Her experience with her kids, and the probably hundreds of kids shes helped care for, is evident with all of your interactions with her.

Alicia is an absolutely delightful caregiver. In her previous role at another center, she was our son’s main teacher. When I caught the rare break in my schedule, I would swing by unannounced to nurse, and I never once observed anything that gave me an ounce of concern. I saw her train other staff, engage with parents, change diapers, and bottle feed the infants. She was always attentive and patient with the kiddos, and happy to chat if I had a question. She is exactly the type of person you want looking after your newborn.

I’m posting under my husband’s account because he agrees 100%.When I heard Alicia was opening this children’s center, I nearly asked my husband if we should have another kid so that he/she can attend Alicia’s school!Alicia was our kids’ daycare teacher at a previous childcare center before our kids graduated. She is still our babysitter. She earned our trust when our infants were weeks old and I spent many minutes visiting the daycare room (at drop off, pick up, and lunch-time bf). And we’ve observed her as a mother to her own fantastic two kids (elementary girl and pre-school boy). She is/was a leader among the teachers and was a wonderful, capable acting director of the former center during a number of transitions between directors.Her philosophy is the best of play-based learning. Give your child’s heart, mind, and body the same love and patience (or more) that they would get with family; invest completely in making sure each kid thrives; develop a community and line of communication between the school and the parents; create an environment where the teachers not only love the kids but love where they work.We were lucky our babies were “raised” when away from home by Alicia and your kids at Peace of Mind will be too!
