Everything I was hoping it would be. The reason the test is known to be difficult is because it is tricky and not necessarily true. Rather than answer how I thought the question should be answered, I answered it the way the roofing school told me I should. Wade impressed me throughout. He clearly knew what he was talking about, showing his real world knowledge and experience which gave me the confidence to trust his instruction and the result was an 88% on the unlimited! I am not sure I would have passed without going through this class/program. Well worth it!

Well worth the money to prepare for you roofing exam. The whole team was exceptional. Very professional, but still a relaxed atmosphere. I would highly recommend taking this class.

This is a full service class and assistance with the business aspect of it that goes way beyond just passing the test. But in terms of test prep, this is an amazing class. If you pay attention, you almost cant fail the test. You will not find better test preparation. You get 2.5 hours to take the 130 question unlimited license test - thanks to the preparation from this class, I was done in one hour with an 85% score (70% passes). This WILL get you past the test, if you do your part.

This is the place to go to learn about roofing, to learn about the roofing business or anything to do with the top of a structure. Wade did an amazing job of breaking it down for the most experienced contractors to the ladies who qualifying a business and will never swing a hammer. I honestly knew NOTHING about roofing but wanted to do this to make a change for my family. I was very nervous that I would even be able to keep up or understand. Being a woman, I was extra nervous going into this. Dalia was very reassuring about the whole process and not to worry. It took no time at all for me to start picking up what Del was teaching. Was little hesitant to sign up in the beginning but am glad that I did!Super convenient and easy materials and they make the process as smooth as possible for you. I took the test the first time and scored 58%. I signed up for class from a flier placed on my door during testing day and was somewhat skeptical . The class is so informative and well taught. I studied for 4 months, 40 hours a week on my own to obtain my Illinois residential roofing license. I decided to take a class with Roofing School of Illinois to try and get my commercial/industrial roofing license. They taught me exactly what I needed to know in a 4 day class to pass the test. I passed with the test with ease. I now wish I would have taken the class to get my residential roofing license. It would have saved me a lot of time studying. I highly recommend taking the class. The instructor is very personable and makes a very dry subject interesting.

I took this class in September of 2018. It was the greatest thing I could have done. I know several people who have failed this test several times. I passed the unlimited test my first try with an 86 and it only took me 45 min. Del is one of the greatest teachers I have ever met. Del and Dalia go above and beyond to make sure you have the best experience and get 100% of what the class has to offer. I couldnt have done it without them. If your going into this class or thinking about going. DONT HESITATE. GO. I went into here not knowing a thing about roofing and it worried me but Dell and Dalia are great at what they do. Dell is an excellent teacher who thoroughly teaches what WILL be on the exam to the point where his questions and pop quizzes are almost straight out of the test booklet at Continental. Dell is also a very generous guy and asking for help or questions was a breeze, there’s not a single question this guy would not help you with. He offered plenty of time to stay later to others ... 2-3 hours late in fact and help out others in need to pass the test. Dell will help you in any way possible to pass the exam. He makes the classroom feel like it’s not a classroom because of his humor and he often talks about his life events which adds to a good time. Dalia is great as well , she helps with not only setting up the classroom but she also helps with some legal documents that HAVE to be done to be a roofing contractor. She also provides a great amount of snacks throughout the 3-4 day course with some very good lunch as well. Overall I wouldn’t even think about going to another school considering you have an instructor who breathes and eats the test booklet and knows most of the questions in the back of his palm. Great experience overall. At first I had my doubts that 3 days (residential exam) would be enough time to cover all the material but Del does a great job condensing and emphasizing relevant information so you are not overwhelmed with information you wont need for the exam. After taking the course I felt ready for the exam. Let it suffice to say that I passed the exam without issue! Money well spent.

Del makes learning easy. It was a breeze going into the test. We had a great class. Del made it very comfortable plenty of breaks. A very good learn environment I really cant say enough. Of course the money makes u take a step back when u hear the price, but Im sure thats what school cost these days. Del and Dalia and the gang are worth every penny. I hope there being paid well. Del teaches a PA class that I hope to attend cause this guy could make teaching calculus look and sound easyUpdate : I just got my test score in and got an 88. I am very happy. Most everything the instructor Del discussed in class was there on the test. It was very helpful knowing that I had the answers n my head already in 1 form or another. From what I have heard, the IL roofing license test is not easy to pass, even if you have been in the industry for 20+ years as I have been. Because my time is very valuable I decided to sign up for this class so I do not waste time studying information that was not on the test. From signing up with Dalia and her support to get me there and her help with filling out the application (yes even the application is a pain to fill out) to Del, the teacher my experience has been great. Well worth the money. Del is very good and presenting large amounts of information (even if you already know it) in a way that will prepare you for the test. He is very good at controlling the class and keeping them on subject (yes, 60 roofers in one room may seem like herding cats but this was no problem for Del). If you are thinking about getting your IL license, I highly recommend taking this class and passing the test the first time.-Mike W.

Got 100% on all of the practice tests after Del’s thorough explanation of every question that will be on the continental exam. Highly recommended for anyone that doubts their success on the exam.

This class was a Godsend! It saved me days and days of research and gave me what I needed to get the job done. Im positive I will breeze through this test now thanks to the efforts of Dalia and her staff, and the high skills of Del Beard as an instructor. I take my test TOMORROW , but have zero doubt I will pass with flying colors. Del and his crew are AMAZING and I feel so confident. Best $2000 or so Ive ever spent. The time and stress their program saved me is priceless. I would recommend this program to ANYone! The personal, human service they provided was unreal. They did everything in their power to keep us alert and literally cared-for. Various snacks and drinks and LOTS of coffee....(always fresh.) Even found an iPhone charger for me to use. I highly recommend this school. Whether you have little or no experience in roofing you will certainly be prepared to pass the Illinois roofing exam. Del is a great instructor who makes the material easy to understand. He cuts out the fluff that other roofing textbooks dont. Dalia was a huge support from beginning to end. You are in good hands with the Roofing School of Illinois!
