I went to this school to get my required hours for the state exam. I definitely learned alot and met some great people too. It took half the time that other schools would have. I passed both my journeyman and master electrician exams first try.I would not be where I am in life today without this school. Mitches knowledge is second to none, fantastic teacher and electrician!
The students that have taken all 4 programs passed their journeyman exam the first time they took it.
Most of our time was wasted doing next to nothing. There is very little actual work to do and when there is 90% of it isnt going to teach someone how to be an electrician. For $300 a month, and in my case an hour trip one way, is not worth classes that dont teach me anything about being an electrician. I am glad that I quit before I was too far in since the credits are not transferrable at this school. The teachers were good people but 1/3 of the freshman classes dont have a single thing to do with the trade. This is a trade school not a university, I didnt come here for a diverse education, im just here to learn the trade.
