I was in need to take some brush up lessons being I have my license and haven’t driven in a while i wanted to get back at it and purchase a car for myself and my family. He is the most amazing instructor and puts u at eased from the start. He gives you the confidence to get behind the wheel and become the safest driver out there. I loved my time with Confident Driver Driving School. I would highly recommend them to anyone who wants to learn how to drive. After years of searching for a good school, reasonably priced, I found them. It was super easy to schedule lessons. And what I liked the most is that I was able to take a trial lesson to get the feel for the Instructor without having to commit to any lesson packages. In the very first lesson, I was driving around lower Manhattan with cars and pedestrians, not in a empty parking lot like I expecting. The instructor is absolutely great and really patient. No matter how nervous I was, he was always very calm and providing me with step-by-step guidance on what to do. I passed my road test on the first try!

I found Confident Driver after 20 classes with another school. I felt that the previous instructor was gearing towards passing the test and not really teaching me how to drive. Morris has a very calm demeanour and his detailed instructions put an extreme emphasis in safe driving. I highly recommend confident driver driving school. I took the lessons in early December 2020 and passed the road test on December 24, 2020. In June 2021, I completed my first road trip in Arizona and Utah. The instructor just taught you every details you need to know to drive confidently. You can confidently drive around in Manhattan after 3-4 sessions.

Before moving out of NYC, I urgently needed to get my drivers license (within 2 weeks). As an inexperienced driver, Morris worked with me every other day to get my driving to the level it needed to be in order to pass my driving test. He was extremely honest, patient, respectful, and professional. Not to mention, he has an incredibly interesting academic and career background himself, so was a pleasure to converse with while driving! Once Morris even insisted on dropping me near a close train station because I had heavy bags to carry home that day from our lesson.At a time when driving schools and test slots are booked up due to COVID, Morris went above and beyond to get a fast tracked test slot for me so I could take my driving exam before moving out of the city. This involved staying up late and refreshing the page constantly, all of which he did. Morris was able to get me a road test date 2 months earlier than any other school was able to. I did 1 hour lesson, which I did on the same day as my road test in the Bronx. Instructions were clear and professional. I passed my road test on that day, thanks to Morris familiarizing me to the roads in the area and the car that I would use for the test.

I gained more knowledge, techniques and confidence in driving after my lesson and more importantly, I passed my first road test in America like magic!! I chose Confident Driver Driving School because this is the only driving school that I found in NYC that had positive reviews all around and I was NOT disappointed.I took a 1.5 hour lesson on the highway during rush hour and it really gave me a taste of what highway driving was like. It wasnt my first time on the highway but the previous highway lesson I had taken with another driving school was not as thorough as the one with Morris was. The lesson basically consisted of merging onto the highway, driving a bit and changing lanes, taking an exit and doing it all over again. I also got to drive in the city for the first time which felt a little different from driving in Brooklyn. I really liked the repetitiveness of it because it helped me lock in what I was learning.I highly recommend taking a highway lesson with Morris. He is very patient, friendly, and communicative. It makes me wish I had taken driving lessons with him for my road test as well!

I dont even know where to start, but for those of you who are still skeptical, Im going to give you my honest review.This school has provided me with the best tool to be a good and independent driver. Note that I never drove before registering to that driving school; but after completing 25 Lessons with the instructor (I bought the 20 hours lesson package at first + an additional 10 hours package) I feel well equipped to take the wheel on my own.The instructor is patient and willing to go above and beyond to teach you and boost your confidence level. Dont hesitate to ask questions if you dont understand something. The instructor makes you feel comfortable. Also, make sure youre punctual as the instructor is always on time to start the lesson.I passed the driving test on my 3rd attempt, but I didnt expect it to pass it on my 1st try knowing where I was coming from. Im so good at the 3 point turn & parallel parking that Im laughing at myself for this huge improvement lol.On top of that, when it comes down to the price, I think its one of the affordable driving schools within the 5 boroughs. Before picking this school I searched online and most of the schools were overpriced.I highly recommend CONFIDENT DRIVER DRIVING SCHOOL, and thanks to Morris & his team to make my driving learning enjoyable. I had a 2 hour highway lesson with Morris, where we covered merging, changing lanes, tunnels, and exits. He is a great instructor and I now feel way more confident driving on the highway thanks to him. He gives great feedback and let’s you know what you need to improve on.

I only took 3 lessons and I was ready as my instructor was every time very helpful and supportive till the road test. This driving school is beyond exceptional. Upon arriving I had made a mistake scheduling my 10 hour lesson and was given a full refund, however we got it sorted out and I continued with my practicing. My instructor Morris was very friendly and incredibly helpful especially for someone like me who never really drove before at 22 years old. He politely but persistently pointed out my mistakes and emphasizes the points that not only make you a good driver, but most importantly pass the test and receive your license. On my first try I received a near perfect (should’ve been perfect) score and am already very good at parallel parking. I highly recommend and personally guarantee as someone who was very nervous to take the road test out of the necessity to receive my license, that enrolling in the lessons for Confident driver will get as prepared as possible.

The confident driver driving school is excellent, and it was convenient for me to schedule my lesson online, and the practice locations were right for me to get to. The teacher was very good at teaching and gave me the technique and tips on making 3 point turn and parallel parking. If you are taking it for the first time and I recommend to purchase the lesson package because that it valuable and worthy, I purchased 10 lessons package ( include exam fee, 5 hr safety lesson ... etc). My name is Alessandro, and even though I already knew how to drive formerly, I must admit, that I had bad habits. If you describe something as the chance or experience of a lifetime, you are emphasizing that it is the best or most important chance or experience that you are ever likely to have. This could be not just the trip of a lifetime but the experience of a lifetime. After one class with my instructor I passed my driving test, because it proved to me that listening is better than talking, especially at my age, but in the end its about how well an instructor can show you what to do, how to do it and still have patience with each individual. This was the best experience Ive had in a while because of passing this test with only one lesson and one test afterwards. Its not really wether you know HOW to drive, its more about how safe can you drive and if your willing to let your old habits go an listen, then react. The most important thing that could save your life before an accident, is listening and paying attention. It saves lives., while driving.

This driving school was very professional from start to finnish everything from booking to payment was quick and easy. Even thought I had passed my road test, the instructor Mr. Morris in a very calm and patient manor helped me to touch up on skills that I learned from other schools along with things I didnt or even driving in different settings such as Mannhattan driving compared to driving in Brooklyn or Queens which is what im used to. The lessons were very well priced and affordable and easy to book from what is offered at any other driving school and every minute was worth every dollar in my opinion. I was initially placed with him through US One Driving School, where I had many 1hr lessons with him around the east and west villages (these are great locations to practice, as they make the residential neighborhood of the driving exam seem as simple as a parking lot). Then I took my driving exam, passed, and later had a 2hr highway lesson with Morris through Confident Driver Driving School. He brings a really calm energy, is very attentive but never stresses you out when you make a mistake (that would only cause me to make more mistakes!) I was taught to pay attention to many important details which I couldn’t even guess. It’s very important to be confident passing the test. Morris encouraged me even when I felt I couldn’t pass. I highly recommend his classes and be accompanied by him on exam.

Morris is a great instructor, i initially got placed with him through US one driving school, helped me get my license on the first try with just a one hour lesson before the test after a year without touching the wheel! Was very patient with my many habits of someone who already drove before, overall very calm and nice person which helps a lot if youre a bit anxious. Highly recommend!

I got my pre licensing 5hour course in this school. Morris didn’t just show us the video for the course. He taught us how to pass the driving test. He gave me a lot of tips on what to do and not to do during the driving test. I use those tips and there you go! I pass my driving test. I highly recommend this driving school. They don’t just teach you, they will take care of you.

I had a fantastic experience with Morris in my lesson before the test. I was taking the test as a relatively experienced driver from another country but Morris was able to run me through what I needed to know to pass, gave a good refresher on what I should be doing anyway, and provided me with some great tips for the test itself. I passed first time, which was reassuring after driving for almost 20 years, but honestly, Im not sure if I would have with the lesson and Morriss assistance. Highly recommended.

I had a 1.5 hr lesson with Morris last week, (from US One Driving School). The lesson was right before my test, and he got me through it, passed. He is very patient, calm and quick assessment as to what I needed most.. The useful tips for parallel parking saved the day.Confident Driving School is his new business, and I would highly recommend him as a great instructor. I was very fortunate to have him very early morning to get thru my test by 9 oclock.

I took my driving lessons (in the city and highway) with Morris at US 1, and I could not wish for a better instructor. Tried calling the phone number on file but no one picked up. It went to voicemail and the phone number that was played back was a different number than what I dialed. Then received a text from the different number and gave that number a call, someone picked up but it was not the company displayed. Due to the inconsistency, I decided not to book services.
