Kendo is an amazingly difficult yet rewarding martial art. Shidogakuin is a very traditional dojo with a wide range of practitioners. Kato Sensei, 8th dan Kyoshi Kendo, 7th dan Kyoshi Iaido is the head instructor. There is no better teacher that Kato Sensei anywhere in NY. There are also other high ranking members who help guide new players and challenge players with experience.Children are also a part of the dojo, son started a few months ago and has been having a blast.I have been studying under Kato Sensei for around 14 years. I cant recommend him and Shidogakuin enough.
