They people in Co-op tech are amazingly nice and fun to be around. You get to meet so very interesting people to. Definitely the place to learn something new and work the time. Im currently in here for welding and Cisco networking, after Im finished I will be doing a repeat for other courses later on in the year.

My son attended Co‐ op Tech for two years. He was fortunate enough to be able to receive a certification in plumbing and carpentryI cant say enough great things about CO- OP Tech! The teachers really care about the students and want them to do excel. Of course the student has to work hard but the opportunity is there. As a parent, I truly wanted the best for my son and we we were lucky enough to find Co-Op Tech after trying college for a year. I am so grateful my he was blessed with an opportunity to excel in the trades.Thank you to the wonderful staff at Co‐op Technical School for giving my son a chance. My family is blessed to have found the hidden gem known as Co-op Tech!My son was also lucky enough to have been chosen for an apprenticeship, when he was totally ready for thanks to Co‐op Tech!Oh let me not forget to give the principal a great big shout out! He is absolutely wonderful as does what he can to help the students. He definitely sets the tone and its clear why the school does so well.Great leadership goes a long way!!!Thank you again CO-OP Tech for all you have done fir my son any my family!!!Thank you, thank you, and thank you CO- OP Tech!

Solid School. Solid people. A lot of pros and cons to each class you take. Those above the age of 21 can take afternoon classes on certain days I believe. You learn a skill for free with certs. I do wish you can take other classes on different floors. For example, Graphic design one year, Hair styling the other. Doing that just increases a students options by tenfold. Anyways, still good over here. Nothing is guaranteed once you finish here in terms of landing anything. Maybe you take a class, and then you realize it’s not for you , the window to switch a class is extremely small. I’d say if you wanna go here, still have a backup in mind.

Terrible school and don’t expect to get a job when you complete any course. They won’t help you with job placement and any completed course won’t help you in the real world. You’ll be better off in college instead.

That remote learning shift was just odd. Even with completion, still under qualified by others via experience despite cert. Sense of direction seems lost.

This school is extremely misleading, terrible, and provides no real guide on the trade you take. The teacher I had first semester was very unprofessional, had no clear view on what the class should be, and my second semester teacher didnt handle the switch to remote learning well at all. Both lacked the basic skill of teaching and left many students confused and with failing grades. The workload was too much, and most of the assignments given were not taught yet. Dont come to this school expecting to get a job by the end of the school year. Youre better off going to an actual college or private trade school.

I was in this school in 2009. Mr.G was welding instructor at time. (Great teacher very experienced and well skilled). He showed me everything about welding and more. I took tow exams the Department of Buildings and the Department of transportation. I ended up passing the Department of Buildings test, leave out as a welder with my welding license. I now get offers from big companies and they want to pay me $45,40 and 35an hour. The school year was great I was a wonderful experience I love it.
