This journey has been long but overall I’m pleased with Empire as a whole. The whole entire staff had been amazing and I thank each and everyone of them for sticking by my side and helping me obtain my COS License. The Teachers are amazing, the students are wonderful and it’s just been a pleasure to be apart of a awesome school.

I am extremely proud to be a part of this school. The educators, administration, and directors are incredible. Not only have they helped me succeed in this business, but as a person. I am so blessed to have met such amazing people. They are more than just peers, they are family. Thank you to everyone who has made this a beautiful experience for me, especially Ms. Knapp, Ms. Jewell, Ms. Wallace, Barbie, Liz, Joe, and Ms. Greene. You all have taught me in different ways, very valuable lessons about life.

My tour and visit for the Beauty School here at empire was very well informed. The process for starting and figuring out my financial aid was very helpful and informative. I can’t wait to start my future schooling here at Empire.

Being a student at empire beauty takes a lot of dedication and patience.. when joining the empire beauty program you will not only meet new people but you gain a whole family. The teachers here do their absolute best to make sure that you are happy with your knowledge and more.. I loved being apart of the family here and I cannot wait to come back and see all the wonderful things that will come❤️

I went into Empire Beauty School 7 months ago skeptical, but I must say they have the most amazing and understanding instructors there, no matter what I was going thru, it was always someone who cared and was helpful, and now Im a graduate.

Though not without it’s ups and downs, my time at Empire was genuinely well spent. I loved getting to know all of my fellow classmates and all of the staff over the course of my education. They definitely did as much as they could to provide us with a good school experience during a global pandemic. I won’t lie and say it was always easy and drama-free, absolutely not, but despite the occasional struggle I loved it. My only wish is that we had been able to work on real people more, but that was out of anybody’s control. We all made the best of what we could, and even though it’s scary entering the “real world” without much “real” experience, I know I have a network of support in this building just a phone call away. :^)

This school has been an experience Ill never forget. The students become family and the educators are beyond amazing. They really know their stuff and make learning easy. Ms. Knapp and Mrs. Greene especially have had a huge impact on who I am as a person and as a stylist and I cant thank them enough.

I thoroughly enjoyed my time at empire and would not choose a different school if I had to do it again. The teachers are informative, helpful and really care about their students. Joe was always quick to problem solve and made the enrollment process very easy for me! All and all a great experience.

Being at Empire helped me dive in and find my true passion in the world of cosmetology. Teachers molded me into the stylist I am becoming today and for the future. I am glad I decided to enroll at Empire and make this big leap into the beauty world!

Empire beauty school was an amazing experience! Joe, the director, was knowledgeable, kind and made this experience in the midst of a pandemic smooth. The instructors were very well informed and made coming to school enjoyable. MS. Knapp and Ms. Wallace made this an experience that I will never forget and I am a better hair stylist because of their commitment and dedication to their students.

Empire has been a wonderful experience for me. Throughout the pandemic, their staff has been eager to get us in the building, working with the tools we’ll need to succeed in the industry, and have been supportive beyond belief. The educators, Ms. Knapp, Ms. Jewell, Mrs. Greene, and Ms. Wallace make this place feel like a second home. I’ve made life long friends, experienced so many firsts, and gained so much confidence in my abilities to work in a salon. If only the corporation itself were not struggling through these troubling times, this experience would be one beyond compare. I definitely suggest holding off until after more restrictions have been lifted. Otherwise, this is the school to be at! I am forever grateful and excited to start a new journey, but I know the professional relationships and the friendships I’ve built here will last quite a while. ❤️

Empire beauty has helped me in many ways. With dealing a pandemic everything became 10 times harder especially not being able to bring in clients, but the educators here has made it easier. I wanted to give a special shout out to Ms Knapp, she has made everyday worth coming in with her energy and laugh. Ms Jewells for always being there to talk to Ms Greene for always keeping us on our toes & Ms Wallace for always being someone I can relate to. I love all my teachers because they helped me into the stylist I am today. And another shout out to my director Joe for his help, couldn’t do it without you guys!

Barbie was SOOO HELPFUL and I LOVE that! I just wish this location had an esthetics program because I would come here quick, fast, and in a heartbeat! Thank you Barbie for being so helpful!!

Today I got the chance to tour the campus and from beginning to end it was amazing. I felt very safe and welcomed. The executive director Joe is an amazing person. The hype around Joe in the review section here is a thousand percent true. He’s very welcoming, he makes sure that you thoroughly understand what’s being presented to you regarding the school and costs, etc. overall I can’t wait to experience the full experience of Empire. The tour was so amazing. I was very shock on everything empire offered very professional Barbie really took me to her world and rocked it the vibe was so amazing very friendly staff and students. Barbie was very helpful can’t wait to start school.

I graduated from Empire Beauty School and I can say it was a great experience. At Empire we are all a family. If you are ever having trouble you can get help from all around. The teachers at Empire are there for us they push us at moments you won’t like them but you will always love them! They continued to push me and I made it Empire is highly recommended!

I really love how Empire got ahold of me as soon as I requested more info. They stayed on top of making sure I was seen and heard. I had the chance to visit a week after talking to someone via phone, and the Director Joe was so informative and helpful! He seemed to truly care about my future in Cosmetology and made sure I knew everything I needed to know. I immediately felt comfortable walking in the doors. I’m excited to see what my future looks like with Empire!

I got covid in december and was told i couldnt come back until august. my life has changed a lot since it was almost 9 months later so there is no point in going back. plus there is so much drama is not even worth it. no thank you!

Empire beauty school is a great school and has been a great experience for me very much. Enrolling was so easy and smooth with joe! It has built my confidence so much for me. I think now is the perfect time to for any new to start. The school is now finally reopening its doors for clients and customers to come in. The teachers are great and Mrs. Knapp is excellent and very thoughtful, caring teacher. It’s a shame for anyone who did start when covid hit cause you don’t get that hands on experience at all. But with the teachers they do everything they could to make sure you get that experiences. The School is very professional and does care very much about its students and us being successfull

The people are great very friendly and I love taking my girls there to get there hair taken care of because the styles they do and nice cuts on my girls I could never do myself and they have lots of patience with my 12 10 and 8 year old daughters I recommend this place because it’s great for when you live on a budget as well very affordable and you are always greeted at the door with a smile 😃

I just graduated from this location and absolutely loved the program! I meet so many amazing staff members that guided me through everything. Of course with the pandemic it was not easy but I’m so happy I decided to come here!

Empire was amazing to go to! I had amazing teachers and Joe was amazing he was always there to help. Liz upfront was amazing at teaching us how the front end of a salon works. They gave us so many opportunities to show our skills. Im so happy I went to empire!

The director Joe is by far the most supportive, and down to earth, cool human being i know! he wants to see ALL of his students win and will do whatever he can to help you see your dreams through. he makes the school environment flow better. i could not imagine getting through this program without joe. he’s truly amazing!

The director Joe is awesome! He’s been so supportive throughout my time at empire. Joe is always willing to accommodate and stay late to take appointments for new students as well as myself during enrollment and other student planning meetings. He truly goes above and beyond to make sure the students are taken care of and the school is performing the way it should be. COVID was a very tough time for the school during/post COVID. He recently hired 3 staff members (two teachers and a coordinator) they are awesome! Myself and other classmates are really happy with the selection and I’m sure you will enjoy the team at empire as much as we do!

Empire Beauty School is a place with good intentions, and mediocre follow through. Covid definitely restricted our educations. The teachers care deeply for the students, but the unprofessionalism and favoritism almost devalue it all. I made many friendships here and if you are looking to enroll I reccomend at least waiting until covid is over so your education isnt hindered by the safety precaution.

This review is for my girl BARBIE and my guy JOE😍 They have been working so diligently since DECEMBER to get my things for me to have financial aid cover my tuition. They never gave up. Truly were by my side every single step calling, faxing, printings, screaming lol. Joe has went out of his way so many times for me and really just the whole school entirely. I could not have chose a better beauty school to attend. They care at Empire School Of Beauty. Barbie & Joe proved that💞💖😍❤

Empire is guided by the right educators and people to get you going on the field you love , the educatorsMake sure you are prepared and motivated for your future and your success I attended this school and simply wouldn’t had come as far as I did without the motivation and encouragement from the Director Joe , he truly wanted to see me and all of empire students make it ! He truly is more than a director he was a huge coach, mentor & great support I appreciate empire and truly Joe.

Extremely friendly environment. So welcoming and very amazing staff. Went to get my lashes done for model day for a friend. Alexis did such a great job always smiling 🖤 she has a great teacher Ms. Jewell keep up the great work girls! I will be returning. Oh did I mention the girls loved having my 6 month old there?! The best thing about Empire right now is our director Joseph Cacia!! If it wasn’t for his hard work and dedication Im not sure where I’d be. He really CARES for you as a person then as a student. He dose his best to do what he can to make EBS feel like home and a place where you will succeed! Him and other staff here at the Rochester campus Rock!!

I entered this journey not knowing all of the twists and turns that would be ahead of me. It seemed so long with it being 1000 hours, “would I be able to do it?” Along with so many other questions in my mind, I took the first step. Alison and Joe made the recruiting process so easy. Even after they made sure to be participants in my education process. Ms Greene, Ms Jewell and all the other teachers were just as invested as I was. Oh were there some cloudy days, absolutely, but it was well worth every moment. I have built many lifelong friendships with some great people at Empire

Im a vet, I always get my hair cut here. Love the way they take care of their vets. Always a good hair cut.

HORRIBLE TEACHERS!!! I recently had full head highlights. I believe this was the students first time ever doing highlights so this is mostly on the teacher. Overview: the student started up the middle. This took at least an hour and then the sides took another hour and 1 & 1/2. The top and middle of the back were in foil for almost 2 & 1/2 hours. She toned it but I still had what looked like a spotlight on top of my head. My roots should not have been done. The teacher should have known this and she should have known that you do not leave the product in hair for more than an hour at most. She did not say anything to the student or even try to teach her. I was there for almost 4 hours. I said its ok I am going to go dye it back. But I was told I could have been nicer. I was not rude but was trying to hurry the drying process along because I could not sit there any longer. It was 10 pm and I had to work the next day and now had to stop at the store on the way home and stay up to dye my hair. My scalp was burning but I had a meeting with the Chief of the Childrens Hospital the next day and could not go in looking like a pineapple. HORRIBLE TEACHERS!!!! I CANT EVEN RATE!

Love it at Empire on West Ridge Rd- Im a cosmetologist & I go there to have my hair services met! --Im also a wedding Officiant and I continue to recommend all my Brides & their group there for make up trials & Hair !!Regards-Vita Schneider

Cheap. Inexperienced and instructors lack respect for customers. Friends said the nails look like a 2yr old did them. Dont go there. You get what you pay for. Continental in Henrietta is much better

I know several recent graduates. Very good program. They do have times the public can come in and get haircuts etc by students who are overseen by instructors. Always kept very clean.

I am 60 years old and I chose Empire Beauty School because the Professionalism of their Educators. The staff makes sure all students received the education they needs to enter in the Cosmetology world. Thank You Empire Beauty School.
