Coach Mike wants the kids to learn, but not just the moves, he wants them to learn the life lessons behind them. My daughter loves learning from him. She is shy, but something about his teaching style brings out her confidence. She makes us leave the house early so she can arrive early for pre-warm up and often stays after her class is over so she can watch the next class.

I and my three kids have gone to Black Belt Center for many years, starting when my youngest was around 4 years old. They all reached blue belt or higher and I have reached black belt. Master Mike is an amazing teacher: patient, creative and dedicated. I have seen him work with all kinds of kids in all kinds of environments: in classes, summer camps, testing, and demonstrations. He is always great with the kids and non-judgmental. I have been to this school constantly for the last 8 years and have only the highest ratings for Master Mike and how the school is run.

Put my son in this train wreck of place just for him to be mistreated and left out of certain activities. Further along In our experience we I was charged for 2 weeks of which he didn’t even attend. After speaking with whomever it was that I spoke with, the woman that sits in the front, she just laughed at my wife when she asked why she was charged. This place is unprofessional, and I believe the poor treatment was racially motivated. Would not recommend any person attend or place their child in the care of this place.

I have had the pleasure of knowing the owners of the this fine place for almost 20 years now.My wife and i take our daughter here, funny how things work.Since day one our baby has had fun in class and has learned so much. From weapons to forms i would say she is well rounded and is still learning.We thank you Mike and Nancy for the learning experience our daughter is having.We recommend the Black belt center proudly. Two thumbs up.

Ive known Master Mike for about 20 years now. He is, and has always been a person with integrity, and truly cares about his students and their progress. After many years of being away I rejoined the school, and it has only improved since I was last around. 5/5 stars, would recommend to anyone wanting to learn TKD from a school that truly wants you to gain new skills, and fitness.

I love this place! I was looking for a place where my son could boost his self esteem, confidence and learn discipline and I found black belt center! The staff is great, my son feels safe and has gotten the boost I was looking for.. He is really engaged when he is there. I never seen him more calm and focused before seeing him there. The only thing that I dont like is the lack of focus and energy in the other kids with higher belts. Doesnt seem like they put much effort into it. I hope that my son doesnt fall into that, because if he did I would want him to be pushed to always do better. But besides that they are great!!! and my son LOVES Karate!

They will receive a one star due to the incompetence of the owners! I am tried of receiving spam mail from them. I have asked a ridiculous amount of times for my email address to be removed over the last 4 years and nothing. I have spoke to Nancy, Mike and another staff member, I have unsubscribe to over 25 emails and nothing!! Each time it is another excuse and Im over it!!!! I want my email back and not to be held hostage from such harassment from this place!!! When my children were there is was a huge play yard!! They learned nothing!! They always were coming home telling me how another child was misbehavioring... that is just a small reason to why my children attended for such a short time... smh remove my email address!!!! REMOVE IT NOW!!!!

The people its great and the facility its awesome

Like it cause they do a lot of physical rutines but no discipline at all ... The kids do whatever they want ... So sad ... They need more DICIPLINE, CONTOL THEM, THEY NEED TO LISTEN!!
