If youre looking for friendly and personalized instruction from trainers with strong martial arts backgrounds, Rise Kickbox is your studio! The equipment is always well maintained and sanitized after every class. Jessica and Fernando manage to challenge beginners and experts alike through rigorous combos set to upbeat music. I recommend starting out with the Bag Work and Body Weight Exercise class before moving on to the more intermediate Pad Holding class. Do not be intimidated by the word Kickbox. These are classes are for EVERYONE - young and old, rich or poor- to enjoy.

Have been training with Fernando for years. He comes up with very thoughtful and organized workouts that make a meaningful difference in your durability and quality of life. He brings an intensity to class, but is knowledgeable about things outside of the gym like diet and meditation. If you’re looking to wind back the clock, train with Fernando

Instructor Fernando was informative and awesome. Super cool kickboxing spot at reasonable pricing, also accepts class pass. Definitely will come again. Be sure to be at least 10 mins so you can warm up. Like the quote on the wall: the first and greatest victory is to conquer self

Rise Kickbox is amazing!! Fernando and Jessica lead their classes with mastery, high energy, and inclusivity (and the great music is always a plus!). They have taken every care to make sure the space is always safe and sanitized, and the pride and commitment to their passion is so evident every time you take a class with them! Best kickboxing spot in town - highly recommend!!

My experience was good if I book with them instead of ClassPass. They prioritize their members over ClassPass members even when you pay for the class just like their membership. They refused to let me into class because it was full. So yes, I showed up thinking I was gonna get a workout and they tell you it’s full and asks you to leave. Poor management to overbook their class, kick me out, and wouldn’t even give me a refund.

I can’t speak highly enough on Rise! I started right about a year ago with no experience or real understanding of kickboxing. I’d gained the “Covid-19” from sitting at my desk at home working all day and knew I needed to make a change. It was hard to find a gym that had classes with an array of times throughout the day and great safety measures in place. Fernando and Jessica take the time to get you over that initial hurdle and really teach you the basics. Once you have those, there’s intermediate and more advanced workouts offered as well. My personal favorite is the Tuesday/Thursday kettlebell conditioning workouts. If you’re looking for a fun group workout that’ll burn some calories I definitely recommend dropping in for a class.

Love this kickboxing gym! Good for all levels, even if you’ve never done kickboxing before. Most classes include a warm up, shadow boxing, bag work, partner work, and circuit training. It’s a great workout and you’ll definitely get sweaty!

Great gym for boxing, kickboxing, and functional fitness. Low per class drop in rate makes it super easy to try out without commitment, and the monthly all access membership is a great deal as well. The owners, instructors, and member community make this a very accessible and enjoyable experience regardless of skill level.

Love Rise! There’s a little something for everyone here - I started as a beginner but most classes seems adaptable to whatever level you’re at. The classes are the perfect blend of technique and cardio. I usually stick with Jessica (she’s awesome!) and introduce my friends to her classes but all the instructors are great here. It’s a nice little community they’ve created and I look forward to seeing al the usuals in class every week.

I found Rise Kickbox by way of ClassPass and I am certainly glad I did. Although the class is one hour of hell, you gain a sense of achievement and well-being at the end of the class. The classes seem to be capped at no more than 14-15 people so the instructor can really manage and give people coaching throughout the exercises. I had Fernando for my first class and you can tell he brings the background and knowledge of kickboxing into each of his classes. The Kickbox 1 class for all levels (aka that includes noobs like me) that aims at teaching the fundamentals of kickboxing while also integrating core and conditioning work. Regardless of what the agenda is for the day, prepare to get a workout in.All in all, while Im on ClassPass, I aim to integrate at least one class per week into my weekly regimen. If you dont have CP the classes are definitely affordable each and the monthly price isnt too bad either. Which is something I may opt for if I want to get more serous about kickboxing. All in all, this is a high quality place and Id recommend it for all levels.
